Frontier airlines has hired a team of investment banks to underwrite an initial public offering (IPO) to take the Denver-based, private equity-owned airline public.
Bloomberg Business reported late Friday that the airline is working with Baclays Plc, Deutsche Bank AG and JPMOrgan Chase and Co. on the IPO, quoting "people with knowledge of the matter." Those same sources, Bloomberg reported, said the airline also has engaged Citigroup in the effort.
